Using Your “Gift” To Bless Others
I’m curious if you know what your “gift” is?
It took me a while to realize that my gift didn’t have to be something spectacular or profound to show kindness.

Easter week has been wonderful and I am feeling tremendously blessed. Here is a little snippet of how our week went, but to get an even closer glimpse, be sure to watch the video below.
This weekend Todd and I went biking in one of our favorite places Fernandina Beach.
About two months ago We found an amazing place on the way there that sells stone statutes as well as antiques called Island Treasures.
Todd and I headed to Neptune Beach with our bikes for the day. The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to see so many people out enjoying themselves.
I thought it would be fun to start posting a week in review periodically to share what’s happening around the Cottage.
This one will include photos from the past couple weeks since it is my first.
I was recently thinking about how fiercely protective my husband is of our children. I was also thinking about the fact that as a mother, no matter the mistakes and poor decisions my children make, I still love them unconditionally.
But it really got me to thinking about where that strong need to love and protect comes from?
Today I wanted to share some of my all time favorite books that have helped me so much over the years. Some of these books I have read multiple times depending on when I needed it most. I thought I would share these with you in hopes that they will help you.
All you need is love… Oh if only that were true… Relationships would be a lot easier.
There is no doubt we have all had times in our marriage or relationships (including us), where you lose that passion you once had due to so much happening in your lives. I can remember feeling at the end of the day that I had nothing left in me, especially being intimate. Well fast forward to where we are now and we can truly say we feel as much in love today (if not more), as we did when we first started dating. So how did we get to that place ?
Today we wanted to share with you a couple of favorite things. First up is one of My (Tammy’s) personal favorites… a letter written by my great grandmother to her son (my poppy) in 1938. He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps in Washington State. He made $25 per month and would send it all home to his widowed mother.
